This significant development aims to create and nurture 100 startups in the blockchain domain over the next five years, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh, the official release states.
IIM Lucknow, through its Enterprise Incubation Centre (IIML-EIC), has established a Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology (CoE-BT) to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to create and support 100 blockchain startups over the next five years. This initiative, backed by the Uttar Pradesh government’s StartInUP Policy, will provide startups with mentorship, funding access, industry connections, and technical resources. IIM Lucknow is also partnering with Microsoft India to set up three outreach centers in Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Greater Noida/Meerut to further promote blockchain innovation.
